More information: "Open Your Eyes", their seventeenth studio album, captures the band after yet another line-up change. Following the departure of keyboardist Rick Wakeman, former session collaborator Billy Sherwood joined the band as a full-time member on guitar and heavily influenced the new record. Many of the songs on the album originally stem from a project Sherwood and bassist Chris Squire developed for their own band, Conspiracy, before the material became part of "Open Your Eyes".
The studio album features 11 songs, including two singles: "Open Your Eyes", title track and rock radio hit for the band, as well as the catchy "New State Of Mind". In addition to that, a special ambient track, hidden after a few minutes of silence in "The Solution", allows listeners to dive even deeper into Yes' vast soundscapes.
