More information: Roger Waters’ In The Flesh - a series of three separate concert tours, spanning three years - took place in 1999, 2000 and 2002. Returning from a 12-year-long hiatus from the road, In The Flesh was a showcase of Waters’ best known work, from his days with Pink Floyd to what was then his most recently released solo album, 1992's Amused to Death.
While the 1999 and 2000 tours were limited to dates in North America, their success led Waters to stage a worldwide jaunt in 2002, during which he performed in South Africa, South America, Europe, Japan and Australia. On 7th March 2002, Waters and his sizeable band - which included familiar names like Andy Fairweather-Low, Snowy White, Jon Carin, Linda Lewis, PP Arnold and numerous others – played in Buenos Aires at the city’s Estadio Vélez Sarsfield.
The entire 150-minute show was recorded for both TV and FM Radio broadcast across Argentina, and featured a mesmerizing selection of Floyd classic and Roger Waters solo-cuts, all of which made for an extraordinary event.
Previously unreleased, the full concert in now available on this 2 CD set for the first time.
Note: Recording quality can vary on FM broadcast releases.
